What determines the size of tmpfs?

It's 50% of available RAM by default (free/Mem: total), However see this post which is probably still relevant:

EDIT: To be precise, the default 50% size is the size of the mounted filesystem using tmpfs. The tmpfs "pool" itself is the size of all available free virtual memory (i.e. RAM + swap).
Brilliant thank you! Rather than direct writing the output of uiDivStats' tail for dns logs, I'm proposing to build up a file in /tmp that flushes to USB every 5-10 minutes. There should be plenty of free space to do this!
