What does this error means ?? I got this error through my router's logs

New Around Here
I'm using ASUS BQ16 and it's connected directly to the fiber box, my internet connection speed is 2.5Gbps. I'm having a problem where my internet is getting downgraded/throttled to around 100mbps for the download and around 50mbps for the upload.. I tried different router like netgear orbi 970, eero max 7 and all are facing the same problem.. Is the problem related to the error code I'm getting on the router logs?

I contacted the ISP support, and they told me there's no problem from their end and they can send a technician to check the fiber box but if the problem is not from the fiber box they will charge me a fee..

Try changing the network cable to the ONT from the router.

2) if you have the ISP's router handy, connect it and see what happens. Double NAT is usually not an issue unless you are running servers behind it.

I'm connecting the router directly to the fiber box, there's no modem or a router in between.. I tried different LAN cable and the problem remains..

Have you tried using the second WAN port instead of the the 10Gbit WAN port ?
Just to check function.

1) what link rate ( either by the link rate LED on the port or in the router config page ) are you getting for the WAN port while connecting with the 10Gbit WAN port ?
2) same question for using the 1 Gbit WAN port ?
3) What ethernet cable spec have you tried ? CAT 5e , CAT 6, CAT 7 etc ?

3a) What is the spec link rate on the ONT LAN port ?
What cable spec minimum do they require ?

4) see below

that seems to nail it. cabling or port issue or incompatible chipsets between the two.
OP - sometimes it comes down to how well the cable termination is fitting in the port or even dirt/fuzz/misaligned connector inside the port. Some chipset implementations for 2.5 Gbit ( if that is what is used on the ONT and not 10Gb or 5 Gbit) and 10Gbit on other devices are not compatible..

1. the LED lights green for the LAN cable that is connected from the Fiber box to the Router.
2. I tried with 1Gbit WAN and I didn't get the error but the internet throttled again to 100mbps download and 50mbps upload..

3. I tried LAN 5e and 6a. my internet connection speed is 2.5G fiber.

What does the router config page showing connected ports indicate the link rate is for the 1 Gbit/s WAN port connected to the ONT ?

i recall a similar case where the user discovered a slightly bent/mis-aligned pin in the receptacle port on the router/ONT. 100 Mbit/s ethernet only requires 4 pins of the 8 to be correct and functioning. Gbit/s ethernet requires all 4 pairs to be correct and functioning. Since the link rate appears to only work on 100 Mbit/s link rate, this implies either bad receptacle, termination, cable, or soldering on the PCB in the router or the ONT.

Has this this been this way since day 1 or has this only occurred after a change of equipment ? If the latter, what was the change.

I tried 5 different cables, I still face the throttling issue, Fiberbox is: FiberTwist XGS2310B connected directly through a lan cable from the 10GE LAN 1 port to the router. I tried 2 different Netgear Orbi 970, 1x eero max 7, 2x Asus BQ16..
non of the routers showed logs error or something, but only ASUS BQ16 showed the error I mentioned above..
The building I'm currently living in, is new.. and there was no fiberbox, so when I called the ISP, they installed the fiberbox and got the internet..
The problem occurs since day 1.. It's been two weeks like that and through the past two weeks I tested the routers I mentioned above, and tried to disconnect all the devices and kept only 1 LAN device connected and the problem occurs..

I tried to connect a laptop directly to the Fiberbox, but nothing happened.. there was no problem.. The problem occurs after I connect a router..

is it possible that the fiberbox is defected? even though it's not flashing red or something, it's not showing any problem as it looks like it's working fine.. both green light are on, the Power LED light is green, and the other one is that the fiber cable is connected, and when I plug in the LAN cable to the router, the LAN port also turns to green..

This issue is driving me crazy..
