What I can do with cisco systems 870 series router?

I have this cisco router:

My main router is another one who provides internet and has a good Wifi range. I have also this cisco router and I belive that a setuo is done before to it since it is functional and if I use an ethernet cable from the main router to this cisco router and then to my laptop it works. How can I use this router, is it useful, for what can help this one since it looks like it doesn't have even Wifi. Does the Wifi need to enable (if yes how?) or doesn't have at all. If it doesn't have wifi for what I can use it, because really I would like to use it as an access point but if it doesn't have Wifi for what I need this? After you inform about the functionalities can you show how to activate, or setup or install all these functionlities?

I wouldn't use it. It's an old model with only 100 Mbps ports and 2.4 GHz b/g for WiFi. Sell it or give it away

Those Cisco devices are IOS units. You need to connect with a console cable. They are command line. If it is real old then the IOS will need to be updated and possiby the kernel.

I'd suggest to bin/e-cycle it...

It's way beyond end-of-life/end-of-support... might be a fun tinker toy to play with Cisco IOS, but even there, it's pretty old.

Clarification does it have wifi, if yes how to configure. What are the benefits when you update.

There were a whole lot of 800 series routers. That one does not look like it supports wireless. It is EOL so it is not a good idea to use except for play maybe learning IOS.
