Not for most of the world. It gets their attention!

For techies it is like putting ribbons on a pig. You still have a pig.
 
This is how salespeople can upsell the customer with a computer, printer, scanner, camera, microphone, and router, in one visit. A $200 purchase suddenly becomes a $2,000 purchase.

Marketing at its finest.

Well, the release drivers for the Intel AX210 module didn't support the 6GHz channels in Windows 10.

"In this case, though, for now, the new adapter will also work as a dual-band (2.4GHz + 5GHz) receiver. The current official driver software for the chip doesn’t support the 6GHz band. That’s because Microsoft hasn’t officially supported this Wi-Fi band yet, not until the end of 2021 or so, probably together with the official launch of Windows 11." - Dong Knows
