what nas do i buy help

i need a nas drive to fo the following things

1/ streaming media to my xbox360
2/ bittorrent client
3/ network printing
4/ shared access for all computers in the house
5/ FTP
6/ suitable for 2x1TB hard drives (I already Have)

I find all this very confusing netgear,qnap,synology which one.which has the better features at the best price

Many NAS models will do all of the things you request. Look at both Synology and Qnap. I would also recommend Netgear but their Duo (2 disk model ) is getting a bit old and is much slower than the current offerings from both Synology and Qnap.

Whatever you pick, make sure your 2 x 1TB disks you currently have are on the compatibility list. if the disk is not listed I would HIGHLY recommend you not use those disks in the NAS.
