What to enable SSH for Admin login to router.

Hi,

I am on an Asus rt-ac86u router using the web client. When I enter the router IP it takes me to the login page which is not secure. I want to enable SSH so my admin login is protected. I have /Admin/sytem/SSH on for LAN and WAN. But is not impacting admin login page. How do I enable? Thank you, Wc

Are you confusing SSH with HTTPS?

Yes, now I feel stupid . Point still stands how do I enable it?

I suggest to set /Admin/system/SSH back to No.
Unless you understand what SSH is and the impact on enabling it for WAN.
