Hello forum. I am new here and I though this is the best place to ask questions like this
Last week I bought a new router (asus ac87u). Now I need a way to connect my PC to it over wifi. Till now I have been using tp-link wr-740n as a client, but suddenly it died. After all it was too slow and I needed an upgrade.
Now I can't decide what to buy a simple usb dongle, a repeater or a router and use it as client. I would like to take advantage from ac speeds and my budget is 80-100 euro. The distance from router (first floor) to pc (second floor) is around 8 meters (26.2467 feet) and my isp's speed is 300 Mbps.
