I have been looking over the GUI to find the stealth mode that allows you to turn off the LEDs from front of router. I have been on three different firmwares (all Merlins) I thought I saw that option in one of them.
Will be placing second RT-N66U in master bedroom just dont want annnoying LEDs on. Thanks everyone.
Never mind found it under Tools>other setting in the middle
