Which QNAP419P Model Should I buy?

What are the primary differences between the Q419P and the Q419P+.

I've seen the comparison charts and looks like just

-Wake on Lan
-Higher Processor
-no lockable HDDS on the +. (which seems extremely assanine to me).

I'm also curious to know if these units have the ability to throw on expandable dedicated storage. I don't mean a single Sata or USB drive. I mean, does this unit accept expandable storage where I can add say, another 8 bays? I've seen this on some models, wasn't sure if this was one of them.


Anyone have experience with these units can comment? Have they been pretty reliable for you?

You are thinking of the Synology DS710+, 1010+, 1511+ for multi-bay expansion. You might be able to add a multi-bay eSATA unit to the QNAPs, but I doubt you will be able to see multiple disks.
