Wifi issue with RT-AC88U and 380.63_2

Hi all,

I got a new AC88U yesterday and immediately installed the latest Merlin for it, which was 380.63_2.

Installation went fine, got it working OK with my fibre provider (Sky UK) and all seemed good.
I originally set it up using a wired ethernet connection.

This morning I went to tweak a few things and tried logging in to the admin GUI using wifi.
I got the login page but when I entered my credentials the web GUI just froze and became unresponsive.
Tried again in a fresh browser tab, could not login at all over wifi.

Is this a known issue?

Try a different browser to confirm it's not related, I've seen similar situation happening on the latest Chrome version.

I was using latest Safari before. I have tried using Chrome tonight and it does seem to be working better. Maybe it's just the initial login that is very slow and unresponsive. All working well so far.

Even though your issue seems resolved, I'm wondering if you did a full reset to factory defaults followed by a minimal and manual configuration of the router to secure it and connect to your ISP afterwards (after flashing RMerlin's firmware)?
