Wifi to Ethernet

I have an Apple Airport Extreme that is set up as an onboard network for numerous devices. These devices are configured to this network. I provide internet via a Verizon hotspot thru the ethernet cable plugged to the back of the Extreme. ?? I would like to have the ability to switch between the Verizon source and an existing strong wifi signal that is on the dock. How would I get the wifi from the dock to the extreme preferably via converting to ethernet so that I can unplug one and plug the other in.

You will need to buy a router that can be setup as a media bridge. You then connect the bridging device with a cable to your existing route. Most ASUS routers support this mode through the GUI. If you flash a router with DD-WRT it can be setup as a media bridge. You also can buy devices marketed as media bridges, WiFi game adapters.

If you go this route be sure to NOT purchase a WiFi repeater or AP as they are not what you need.
