Hi. Knowing that the Wireless-N is transmitted on the 5 GHz frequency, might there be any interference with my cordless phone that is operating on the 5.8 GHz freq?

Most US approved wireless routers use the 8 channels between 5.180 - 5.320. This means they don't touch the freely available channels in 5.8Ghz.

If you want to play it safe then get a DECT 1.9Ghz phone.

Few Questions:

What specs does a cordless phone need to have to be Wireless BGN friendly?

Does this DECT thing have to be part of it?

If so, please point me to the best/ economical DECT compliant phones available in the USA, UK, Germany, Hongkong/ Singapore.

(I am currently in India so I'll have to source from one of the above locations)

BONUS: If it can pair with a Bluetooth headset for calls.
