Hello-

I have a computer on a home wired ethernet network that I think is dropping the connection now and again. I'd like to troubleshoot.

Is there some sort of utility that I can run for several hours to see if the network is dropping out from time to time?

Thanks much, AL

Yes! Network View (not free but you can try it out) it monitors and discovery the network nodes (devices) wired or wireless, routers, access points, bridges an etc. It draws network map of all network devices on your network. It can keep of log of what connects and what drops off the network. You can add sound effect or use voice to let you know connections and disconnections.
