Hello, I am looking for a non-draft version of a mini pci card with Wireless-N. So, far the only cards I have found are using either a Broadcom BCM4322 (draft 2.0) or Atheros AR9223 or 9220 (dual-band), both are 2x2. I can get the Broadcom for as low as $7 on ebay, and the Atheros as low as $15 (single band) and $30 (dual-band).
I will be connecting to a new Actiontek C1000A which has performed flawlessly in my families home so far. The laptop this card is going into is a 7 year old Thinkpad R52 which uses Mini-PCI and two antenna connections.
So, anyone know what the best Mini-PCI card would be to take advantage of this Laptops fantastic built in antenna? Thank you
