New Around Here
Hi,

I want to buy a new router (5 year old WRT54GL starting to be problematic), and my main needs are :

- Gaming (latency and stability)
- Downloading

I also want to

- Copy files over the network between computers / USB drives

I don't intend on doing HD streaming anytime soon.
The maximum number of concurrent clients is going to be 5-6 (3 computers and 2-3 mobile phones)

That being said, amazon currently has the WNDR3700 and WNDR37AV for 98 and 99$ respectively :

The only thing that is missing from its feature set is the ability to download directly to the connected USB drive (so I can turn off all of my computers at night).

Is this a good choice for my needs or would you recommend something else? Perhaps a router with similar performance and price that has these features?

Thanks!
