Hi All,

I'm new here to the forum but not new to the loading of custom firmwares to routers etc...

Last week I got my new RT-AC66U and loaded Asuswrt-Merlin strait onto it as I came from a E3000 with Shibby tomato on there and I like the extra features.

The Asus Merlin firmware is great btw!

Yesterday I was looking into getting the best performance out of the USB/Samba performance.

EXT3 Gives me about :

Testing a 1GB file

Read 15MB/s
Write 12MB/s

The SMB process runs at about 80% of the CPU when running this test so it has some room left I guess.

Now it seems formatting the attached drive into xfs would give better performance altough because of less overhead.By default the Asus merlin software doesn't support the xfs file system.

So started looking arround for the extra kernel modules so i could side load it via the terminal and found this link but the module doesn't load.

Can someone point me to the right kernel modules for the RT-AC66U?

Thanks!
