    Also try the AUS Speed Test. It is from the router though. See if you test at 1.5G. This rules out the gateway.

    I have AT&T fiber 1G but it tests at 1.3G. With XT9's I can get 800-900 mbs on 5Ghz WIFI from a node with a years old Samsung Note 8. I use wirless backhaul (2nd 5Ghz channel).

    Hi Ozark I was unable to decpher. What I think triggered the mesh issues is I unbound devices to specific nodes. After rebinding devices I have not see the problem again.

    Red Light Indicator XT9

    It happned 2x already. While holding the XT9 at an angle, I see red light. Cable to WAN port is connected. I wiggle the LAN cable and the power cable at is connection point to the router and no such red light. What causes this?

    Its prob overkill for location 2. But for location 1, either would be beneficial. They seem similar spec (to a layperson like me) but is the 6E worth it? Will the antennas be beneficial over internal antennas when used at location 2? Will a 6R router play well with the XT9s where are WIFI 6 only...

    Mine been rock solid since Day 1. The XT9 eliminated all previous WIFI dead spots in a large house with lots of obstructions.
