Does anyone know how to Block QUIC on an ASUS AX6000 Router ?. And also at sametime, how does QUIC affect Logging of Url's visited by clients, as I understand it hides the Url ?.

Thanks

Firewall, Network Services Filter, block 80/UDP, 443/UDP.

Nope I did turn that off as well. Strange that there is some leakage, as below Copy & Paste of log.

QUICUpload1.64 MBDownload 3.70 MBTotal 5.34 MB
Are those figures static or are they increasing? Did you reboot the router to break any existing connections after applying the filter rule?

If this is Traffic Analyzer data - as I remember correctly it updates the graph every 1h and per client data every 24h.

They increase slightly. Defintely not as many MB's as before I blocked 80 443 and IP6, but still wondering where leakage is . I use 1 Main Router AX6000 and 1 Node (ASUS RT-AC86U AC2900) .

Yep, as per slightly earlier post, I cleared all Logs last night so could see new figures. Is only total 400 KB now (KB not MB) . Is that acceptable or should it be zero ? And thanks
noted the updating schedule.

I may be missing something here but isn't quic a protocol developed by Google, used in Chrome and Micro$0ft Edge? May also be used by some Google IoT devices?
Stop browsing the Web 😂

Please focus on THE Question not periphery as this is supposed to be serious forum.

Now, Tech9, just checked the Logs again and it says;

3.84 MB UP6.65 MB DOWN10.49 MB TOTAL

So there Must be a "leak" ?. All I know is the connection is from a Smartphone and is connected to the 1 Node I have. I may try rebooting the Node again, but did that yesterday. HOW ELSE could such leaks occur ?

AND: This is My own Ethernet connection to the Main Router, showing QUIC;

QUIC4.23 MB10.83 MB15.06 MB

WHAT am I doing wrong ?. PLEASE SEE ATTACHED SCREENSHOT of what I hoped would block QUIC. on both main router and the 1 Node (note I am using main router and still showing QUIC)

Anyone any ideas will be good thanks.
