Hi All,
I recently got a used RBR50 device and its in constant green light mode. Nothing helps anb its not changing to anything no matter how hard i tried (resets, tftp mode and etc.
I opened it up and connected serial console. Here is what im getting. AM i correct thinking that it is physical bad flash memory chip and there is nothing to be done here? Can you please take a look and advise? It stops in console and nothing happens.
Thank you in advance!

Hope you can get your money back.

Nah, it was advertised honestly and cheap. External plastic housing is perfect and power supply is good - so at least those parts are salvageable.

Hello!
Did you find any solution? I've read all posts I found here and at netgear forum, in most of the cases the device reaches the 'Hit any key to stop autoboot' , in my case (and as I see yours) the boot sequence stops earlier! [Funny enough, in my case, in few tries I get 4 extra lines of log, but never reaches a state that I can provide input/commands]
Are there any ideas/solutions/thoughts/hints ... :) ?

Unfortunately in my case looks like dead flash chip and nothing short of replacing it will help.

Hi

I have an RBS50 that seems not to boot as expected, and it is not possible to download new firmware in any way. I tried both nmrpflash and tftp and nothing seems to work.

This was really good info about the serial console. Didn't know there was one. FINALLY I am getting somewhere.

EDIT: I started my own thread now, with the help of the info about the serial console here.

BTW, did anyone ever manage to fix this NAND flash error issue? If so, how? I have the same issue.

Finally I managed to fix mine. Here's what I did
