Asus RT-AC66U to Asus RT-AC86U (AC 2900) upgrade

Since the ac66u is no longer being supported, I have decided to upgrade to the RT-AC86U.

My question is: Is there any way to install the existing backup configuration from the AC66U on the AC86U directly, or am I required to manually configure? I have a lot of ports, dedicated ips, scripts etc so it would take some time to manually configure.

No. Config files are not compatible across routers, they are only meant as backups.
