Hi, I've setup the openvpn client on the router and as soon as I enable any or all three options under Aiprotection - Network protection, I go from 42mbps right down to 8 mbps.
I've tested the speed by downloading a well seeded linux torrent and get very similar results when using speedtest.net and another speed test site.
I've tried both of the most up to date Asus and Merlin firmware with the exact same results. I did do a factory reset between the different firmware and don't have any other option setup except for wifi, vpn client and a script to redirect a port to one pc. Any ideas or pointers would be great.
