New Around Here
Hello everyone!

I'm a newbie when it comes to network processes, and I need your help.
I have a router, the RT-AX86U, with the latest Merlin firmware and WireGuard VPN—everything is working fine.
However, I don't understand what I need to do to enable the killswitch.

I've watched a lot of YouTube videos, but they show an older interface.
My interface only has a "Killswitch On" option, and it works—if I lose the VPN connection, the internet goes down. However, some applications, like Slack, still seem to work.

What should I do next to fix this?

My main goal is to ensure that all connections are blocked until the VPN is available, with no internet access without the VPN.

I'm not exactly sure what you're saying here. If the internet goes down, then how can apps continue working (assuming by "working" you mean they have internet access). Or are claiming they *do* have internet access, but it's via the WAN?

If the intent is to deny internet access to the WAN for *all* clients/apps except via the VPN, then I suggest you use the firewall to deny access to the WAN unconditionally.
