    A suggestion for WinSSHTerm Does many things well, and is tabbed for those of us who have a few servers or need to view a log while doing something. You can use the updated inbuilt tools (putty, pageant, etc) or if you want, use your own copies of them.

    In my last house, there were coax and splitters everywhere. I had the cable company come out and run one run to the modem. I later added a splitter and a run to enable MoCa. Worked great afterward and for the 10 year run in the house. Point is, if you are dealing with unknowns, install fresh.

    Surprisingly, I have had zero (!) problems with my motley mix of plugs, switches, doorbells, streaming devices, leak detectors, thermostats, TVs, weather station loggers. I don't run any cameras except doorbells.
