Solved Project: Block Windows program from phoning home...

How can I go about blocking a Windows program from accessing its/my cloud account? I want it to simply fail as though the Internet is temporarily unavailable. And I want to be able to easily allow access when I need it (infrequently). The program is unusable these days unless it is in a logged in state. Once logged in, it remains usable if I pull the Ethernet cable, so how to simulate/toggle that without actually disabling my network connection.

How about creating a Windows Firewall outbound rule?

Old dog learning new tricks here. I set an outbound rule in Windows 10 Defender Firewall and that seems to work as desired without the program getting all upset about it. Thanks for the direction!
