Thanks! This is indeed the new 3.0.0.6 branch!

Does this version support VLAN? Anyone?
Confirmed by Asus tech support today that when it releases it will NOT support vlan.

"Please reminded that the features supported in the official 3.0.0.6.102 firmware version will vary according to the model's software and hardware specifications. For example, due to hardware limitations, XT12 and ET12 will not support the VLAN feature in the official firmware."

Oh really?? Why does the 3.0.0.4 branch support VLAN and the 3.0.0.6 not? Any advice? Should I stay on the old FW?

Don't confuse WAN tagging (which is a requirement for some ISPs) and full VLAN support (which is what 3006 added).

I don't believe 3.0.0.4 does support VLAN. I'm currently running the 9.0.0.6 beta right now and it does support VLAN and Guest Network Pro. I'm considering just staying with the beta, but will test out 3.0.0.6 if I'm ever able to download it.

Thanks. I think Asus pulled the firmware! I don't see it anymore on the website and my router doens't find it via search for new updates in the interface.

I asked Asus Support about this and they responded by saying that the 3.0.0.6 release is suffering from stability issues so that's why they pulled the update. The ETA for the fixed version is unknown. They gave me a link for the beta version to try, I'm not sure if it's a new beta or old (linked below).

Interesting. I got the same exact email. :) It is newer than the last beta. I haven’t installed this yet, but will today at some point. They did say it supports GNP.

Any visible changes, glitches, something unusual? Well, except so much expected features.
So far so good. It has the Guest Wifi is updated with dedicated Kids, IoT, VPN etc. Other than that a few minor things. I don't think it has the VLAN feature included.
