Release ASUS ROG Rapture GT-AXE16000 Firmware version 3.0.0.6.102_36382 (2025/03/12)

As I've explored the new 3006 menus, one thing I'm not crazy about is what they've done to the Internet speed measurement display. Instead of selecting a server and actually seeing, in real time, the actual throughput in both directions, what they replaced it with is a dumb display that just shows up/down with no ability to select servers or see the actual measurements. So I now have a relatively useless display that just says 5Gbps Send Rate and 5Gbps receive rate. From what server, when was measurement taken? I liked the old one much better.

Personally, I would like to be able to turn off all those network pings and Game Monitors and what not, otherwise, stable so far past couple of days

I wonder if Merlin’s is the same or whether he’s kept the previous Speedtest version? Looks like there is an alpha version up.

Woo-hoo! Upgraded GT-AXE16000 to the new 3.0.0.6 firmware. All went smoothly so far! I was running the beta and had already gotten used to the VLAN options. The official release looks polished and I like the changes.

Dear Asus, I was starting to regret buying such an expensive router because it seemed like your firmware support was very short and may have already ended for all I knew. Customers can be patient and loyal if they know work is still being done but finicky and disgruntled if kept in the dark so it's smart business to engage with customers more.

@Squididdle Do, this forum is independent of Asus. Asus do not provide official support to this forum. It is likely Asus does not officially actively monitor this subforum. Your best bet, if you want to provide feedback to Asus, is to use the Feedback form/page in the stock Asus firmware GUI (see Administration > Feedback).

In previous versions of the firmware you could choose between 5G-1st and 5G-2nd band for a guest network ... I can not see that in this version ... Is there anyway to do that ?
