    [Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.11 is available

RT-AC5300 Dirty Upgrade was a piece of cake! Both usb ports were in normal use, and neither was dismounted. I came from Beta 2, and so far, so good on this release! One bit of weirdness: after the upgrade and a reboot, the internet connection to the modem showed an 'x' indicating no internet...

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.11 Beta is now available

A little weirdness today, but I am unable to isolate the cause. Tried to log into the GUI this morning while on the Beta since it dropped. It has run flawlessly, until the login attempt. I got the sign in screen, but never was able to get the GUI to come up. Tried multiple browsers to no...

That's what I'm currently using, and they work without a hitch!~ I think I'd like to add Google via the GUI. Has anyone tried that as yet? RT AC-5300

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.11 Beta is now available

Eric, I tried 3 different browsers, all with the same result regarding Encrypted SNI. All return the same result on this web site... https://www.cloudflare.com/ssl/encrypted-sni/

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.11 Beta is now available

Same here... Just installed the Beta with a dirty upgrade. It was flawless, and all is working as before. I do not think that Encrypted SNI is available in any useable fashion, based on light research. Other comments? RT AC-5300

[Preview] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.11 with DNS over TLS

Exact same result here after implementation ( https://www.cloudflare.com/ssl/encrypted-sni/ ). I don't know the why's on the Encrypted SNI fail. Read some, but no real clarity yet... RT AC-5300

[Preview] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.11 with DNS over TLS

Finally tried it... Using these 2 Cloudflare IPv6 addresses selected from the drop down box: 2606:4700:4700::1111 2606:4700:4700::1001 So, 7 mouse clicks, then had to select 'Apply!' I am exhausted...think I'll have a beer!?! ;-) Thanks to Eric for clearing up a thorny issue! Finally, could I...

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.10 is now available

RT-AC5300 Version 384.10_2 dirty upgrade from the beta without a hitch... QoS is back to normal! File transfers to attached media drive via router usb 3.0 port are still crushing router performance for both cpu and ram use (values at or near 100%). This seems to have started in the .10 firmware...

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.10 is now available

RT-AC5300... QoS is amiss, for sure. Additionally, the total absorption of cpu/ram for any file transfer over a few megabytes to an attached usb drive used as a media server continues is this iteration of the software. It didn't used to do that, but nearly stops router function lately. I think...
