[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.10 is now available

I am quite aware of the risks of allowing anonymous FTP on my LAN, which are so minuscule as to be virtually nil, so the warning makes no sense at all. At a minimum, the warning should be toggleable.

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.10 is now available

Thanks for your reply, but this particular notice has nothing whatsoever to do with a new firmware version (I'm on 384.10_2). Again, if I click on the the warning, it brings up a box cautioning against anonymous FTP, which if I disable, does, indeed, do away with the warning. As I mentioned, I...

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.10 is now available

I allow anonymous FTP within my LAN, which causes a perpetual flashing warning when in the GUI. Is there a way to disable this warning other than by disabling anonymous FTP access itself?

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.9 is now available

My report of yet another successful update on what is now an RT-AC68U went into immediate moderation. Is it just me or is the mere mention of the router previously known as "something else" now banned?

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.7 is now available

Be mindful of the fact that a successful upload of Asuswrt-Merlin of any version to an unmodified TM-AC1900 involves a number of steps beyond merely the uploading of a new firmware and, as such, will likely not be successful. As I mentioned, the information to success with the TM-AC1900 is...

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.7 is now available

As a data point to those who may have successfully "converted" their TM-AC1900, such that it now reports as a "true" Asus RT-AC68U (the information you seek may not be available here, but it is out there), as I have, this update installed quite easily, completely, and seamlessly on my router, as...

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.6 is now available

Unfortunately, my original, detailed reply to you was deleted by the mods---c'est la vie. You can Google the instructions for the needed steps to manually upgrade to 384.5 using Putty and WinSCP, which, as mentioned, allowed me this go-round to upgrade to 384.6 without issue.

[Release] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.6 is now available

FYI, a dirty upgrade of the now-released firmware of 384.6 on top of a previously forced update (as in deleting the required files and partitions) 384.5 on a router previously known as a TM-AC1900 worked perfectly, without, even, requiring a hard reboot.
