    See http://forums.smallnetbuilder.com/showpost.php?p=138435&postcount=73 You can also search for vlan and you will see other post about people wanting to segment that guest SSID because its not a real guest network. To me it seems like just another way to instantiate more SSID's.

    Yeah....not sure whats different for you. There are others here that have the same issue as i had. I was up pretty late trying different things to secure that guest network, i ended up flashing with ddwrt and used this http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Multiple_WLANs to do what i needed...

    That option does nothing for me, internal resources still accessible with that off.

    But whats not normal is the guest network being able to contact the internal resources on the main network.

    I was on the latest version, i gave up and decided to switch to ddwrt. I worked it on a few mins then i was able to setup everything how i wanted it. :D

    I have noticed this also, the guest network is not really a guest network because its not segmented at all. We need to be able to create and manage vlans via the GUI

    The rt-ac68u is not my primary router, its setup in the wireless router operation mode. I have the access intranet option off on the guest ssid and i can still access internal resources.     Yes. The Guest Network is not truly a guest network, real guest networks are segmented from the main wireless network. Currently the guest resides on the same network as the main SSID wireless network and can access internal resources which is what i don't want.

    No the Guest network is just another SSID which you can assign different wireless security on. I need to be able to segment the SSID's via vlans.
