    I was reading somewhere that this router does not play nice with 192.168.0.1subnet. I flashed mines with RMerlin .33 Beta3 and configured them Router/Repeater and it seems to be stable so far. Am I thinking correct that in Repeater mode, it only uses 5Ghz N protocol instead of AC?

    A sad thing to hear.... I purchased two of these flagship (expensive) routers from Asus specifically of this "Media Client" feature. Maybe it is time for all of us to contact Asus and scream louder.

    Is Merlin .33 beta 1 the same as Asus .726? I want to try Merlin's as there are a few more features I like to test but I will need this new Repeater Mode as well. I am too trired to wait for Asus to fix this Client Bridge issue. Thanks

    I only have the same issue with #2 and need to manual reboot the MB every couple of days when it stops routing traffic. Perhaps because I have no clients connect to 2.4Ghz radio on the MB.

    So in other words, we are still waiting for Asus to come out with a fix. correct? I am not sure if my MB restarts at all. It just drops my LAN devices randomly and evenly stop to communicate with the Router.

    Thank you, Mr. Merlin. It is great to hear Asus is aware of these issues. Meanwhile, my kids already know the on/off power button function of the router and they are free labor so :-)

    Damn right... and it is quite embarrassing for me to spend this kind of money to replace my trusted WRT-54G set-up. Now I have to tell my family members to turn on/off the media bridge everyday (yes children....it is a brand new feature from Asus....xD). Maybe I should test them in AP/MB...

    Any specific instructions on how to accomplish it? I am assuming this command will restart the MB automatically at certain time? Sorry I am new to all this so please give me some more details. Thanks

    Guys, I have the same issue. Media Bridge keeps dropping its wire clients which requires a reboot to fix it. As mentioned, it happens at least once a day. If you found a setting that fix the issue, please share. Thanks
