    MerlinWRT - compile instructions?

Do «autoreconf -f -i» in directory with problematic library/module, then try to recompile. I've finally done compiling and building RT-N66U 380.69_2 build (initial goal was to add 'service-event' jffs script support same way as introduced in 384.5 NG). I successfuly used this script with ubuntu...

Not to mention MUCH smaller binary than dnscrypt-proxy2. We're running in tight memory environment.

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.7 Beta is now available

What about this: https://github.com/RMerl/asuswrt-merlin.ng/tree/master/release/src/router/acme-client-portable Seems to me it's an acme-portable client using classic linux-way 'webroot' challenge method.

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.7 Beta is now available

On Exchange Windows Server, for example, LE ACME client integrates itself into IIS and becomes able to auto-get and auto-renew LE certs. ASUSWRT details of LE client work & possible httpd/firewall integration are to be yet revealed. What I can definitely claim— it works in my case with custom...

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.7 Beta is now available

LetsEncrypt has A LOT of validation schemes. One of them is: client requests cert from LE server, LE server connects to host (using FQDN name submitted by client) , sends special https request and waits correct answer from client (this process is so called «ACME challenge»). I have not inspected...

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.7 Beta is now available

No, it's not. I use LE with privatedns.org DDNS service (custom script) with no problem at all. It however requires «white ip» .

[384.7_Alpha - builds] Testing all variants.

VPNclient CAs, client keys, certs & static keys are stored in NVRAM again? PS: seems there were nvram-copies of jffs keys & certs. 'nvram unset' removed these copies from nvram. I can't say why they were created, but FW version was definitely Alpha 1 (now Alpha 2).

[384.7_Alpha - builds] Testing all variants.

NVRAM usage: 62610 / 65536 bytes. Not a big deal? Did clean setup on Alpha 1, now it's Alpha 2.

    DLNA Again!

Use minidlna from Entware-NG. "No-full-rebuild" patch is incorporated there.

    Entware-arm - synced with Entware (mips) 2015.09

Yes, internal ASUS dlna server is not enabled in GUI. But if I will enable it, will not it conflict with entware minidlna?

    Entware-arm - synced with Entware (mips) 2015.09

Seems to me minidlna is shutting down because of rc_service. here is log: Oct 2 16:41:01 custom script: Running /jffs/scripts/post-mount (args: /tmp/mnt/ExternalUSB) Oct 2 16:41:01 rc_service: ntp 466:notify_rc restart_diskmon Oct 2 16:41:01 disk_monitor: Finish Oct 2 16:41:02 disk monitor...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 378.55 is now available

I think we would ask Merlin for patch in future versions. This new «secure login» logic from ASUS is extremely annoying, I can say.

    Asuswrt-Merlin 378.55 is now available

ASUS used «foilautofill» trick (google it) preventing login/password memorizing in most browsers. One can just look at /www/Main_Login.asp and see it. I copied /www to /jffs/www, then added «init-start» script mounting /jffs/www to /www, making it writable. Then I was able to patch...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 376.47 is out

Same behavior on RT-N66U, internet (static IP) runs slow after ~1-2 days. Reverted back to .43, no problem now.
