    Have you tried using Merlin in the main router and AsusWRT in the nodes? For some reason, this combination tends to work better than all Merlin.

    @nickie Out of curiosity. Is this with AIProtection on or off? What was the free RAM level right after the update?

    I edited my post, and the link is now there. I get it, I keep a folder with old firmware in case things go wrong. I might be paranoid, but I prefer to go to the manufacturer's' page and download the firmware instead of using a forum link. I worry about malicious or inaccurate links.

    Interesting, I have seen this too (usually takes over a month or so). Router seems to work fine, even after Network Map stops updating, so I tend to ignore.

    Agree with this. I assume most testing is done with default (or close to default) settings. I only lock the channels and sometimes IPV6.

    Does it happen with other wired devices? Could be a weird compatibility issue. Do you have a network switch? If yes, it would be interesting to see if it happens when you have a middle man.

    The second problem (I think) is a recent Alexa bug. I have experienced it twice in the last week. I try to play a radio station, Alexa says okay, but then, silence. It was fine before, and nothing has changed in my network setup since October. Spotify is still working fine.

    WiFi Routers｜WiFi 6｜ASUS Global New models on the Asus website. Also, @RMerlin was right, the likely reason the most recent version of the TUF AX5400 firmware is double the size is because there's an updated version called TUF AX6000.

    These are very similar devices. I think the biggest difference is that the TUF segregates the 2.4 and 5 frequencies to separate antennas. Oh, and less RGB :)
