    It runs fine on other ELF supported systems (cross compiled) and 384.17. It use to run in /var or /bin but these are write protected. I may try usb but it should be run from jffs.

    I used to be able to do this (2 years ago) but now when I place a binary(0755) in /jffs/tools I get from a ssh session "-sh: mybinary: not found", nothing found in the release notes. I tried export PATH=$PATH:/jffs/tools I tried '/jffs/tools/mybinary'

    Once your cable leaves your home it goes to a point where your ISP most likely is not alone, unless eth6 is the wifi port then it could be anything, ea. an alarm system/solar panels scanning after it lost its link.

    Set your 5g channel fixed to any of these: 36, 40, 44, 48, 149, 153, 157, and 161

    And change the antenna's :D any shared services nearby (like a distribution box outside on the street where usually multiple ISP's share the internals)

    With that your better of with a switch like a GS1900 and vlan the sh*t out of it. And deploy more than one AP. Here I do almost the same with an additional router between a trusted LAN and Wifi, VLAN & Zone segmented with very specific routing via the second router to bridge specific flows...

    Ok so (to me) its more clear what the issue is, how can we tackle this? back in the day I had my CB designs (ea. DA/AD convertors) made externally, what parties are here today that (still) do customized components like a dual band dipole 2x the bandwidth (as that would fit the plastic tube)...

    If your default subnet is 192.168.100.* (.1 as gateway) manually assign to this device 10.10.10.10 with the current gateway (ignore warnings), if there are no explicit routing rules both subnets can''t see each other but can use the gateway. On some (router) devices you can assign 2 LAN subnets...

    And nothing you tested improved anything? are there any specs to comply to, to get improvements? could the power output be adjusted by the firmware without anyone knowing this? Have you tested with different power settings?

    Agreed, there are so many factors which may or may not explain the difference, its a nice experiment for 20 euros to see 'if' there are possibilities that may work instead of just trowing mesh/range extenders at it.

    If this is about Wifi (and not LAN) stick to Guest wifi with isolation as just mentioned.

    Define a different static IP/subnet address using the default gateway, without a routing statement for the existing subnet traffic will not flow between them.
