    thinking of installing a pfSense box

    I have a similar setup. A dedicated pfsense box with one ethernet (VLAN) going to ASUS router in AP mode. This ASUS router hosts several other ASUS routers in AIMesh. When you change your ASUS router to AP mode it might clear the Mesh, if it does, as mentioned above, just setup again.

    Configuration advice when using Bell Pure Fibre

    I too am on Bell Fibe internet. When they installed they brought fiber cable right to the house. They recently upgraded me to from 150 to 500. I have had no issues. SImilar to above, I needed lan to wan (bell to AC5300) and pppoe setup on my Asus ac5300. TVs remained connected to Bell hub.

    dirty upgrade from 2_6 to 386.3 beta on ac5300. All seems fine. I'm using Yazfi with one 5G guest dedicated to NordVPN client. All working as expected and VPN DIrector shows rules correctly.

    [alpha] Asuswrt-Merlin 380.67 pre-beta test builds

    Updated my 5300 from 66 to 67. The 5G channels both lost significant signal strength. Could not see the ssid unless in the same room as the router. Both 5G are setup with standard setup. The 2.4 channel was strong. Went back to version 66 and 5G strength is back. No resets.

    Can't upgrade to 56 beta 2 from beta 1...

    It worked, I'm back on 56. The hard coding the PC to 192.168.1.100 seemed to be the trick.
