Kamoj Kamoj Add-on Beta testing II

Changes in kamoj-addon beta version 2021-08-06 5.4b34 --------------------------------------------------------------- - OpenVPN Client: Corrected: The OpenVPN Client is automatically switched on. (@sppmaster) If you installed 5.4b33 and are not using OpenVPN client, please switch it off...

Kamoj Kamoj Add-on Beta testing II

Thank you for your report! :) The add-on does (should not) not touch any SSH/keys, but an install of router Firmware (e.g. Voxel) erase it. So I can not explain this behaviour. o_O You should have your keys stored on USB for auto-restore after firmware update - as described elsewhere in several...

Kamoj Kamoj Add-on Beta testing II

Thank you very much for the suggestion! If you or anyone has specific examples of "pop-ups", I'm interested to add them to the add-on. Probably it would be possible to link the pop-up text to e.g. the FAQ.txt. (Normally people dislike pop-ups, so there need to be some opt-out functionality as...

Kamoj Kamoj Add-on Beta testing II

For now it's still working - only warnings. The issue is that NordVPN is not up-to-date! In next OpenVPN version, NordVPN will possibly stop working unless you add e.g. this string to the configuration file: data-ciphers AES-256-GCM:AES-128-GCM:AES-128-CBC:AES-256-CBC or possibly even...

Voxel Custom firmware build for R7800 v. 1.0.2.87SF

There is a typo in the code. Can be corrected with: sed -i 's/speep/sleep/g' /sbin/cmdupnp

I'll add a protocol common "killswitch.sh" file to start with. Once it's good enough we can add tun0. You can look at next release when you have time and then we sort out how to proceed.

The code has become a bit complex through the years... And for the bypass "WiFi Interface" (involning ebtables)? ... Relax and have a great holiday!!!

Kamoj Kamoj Add-on Beta testing II

No, the certs are not copied... I tried your wifi bypass method implemented in the add-on now, and it works as it should. Except if killswitch is ON, all devices on that wifi interface lose internet connection. Can you confirm that? And if so, do you yet again have a neat solution for it?

Kamoj Kamoj Add-on Beta testing II

Your problem is because your .ovpn-file is missing the name of the password file. I tried to handle these cases in the add-on, but a bug made it not work - as for you. More info: 1. The "auth-user-pass" line in the .ovpn file should contain the name of the password file. E.g.: For...

Thank you!!! :) Added your way of doing it to the add-on now.

Kamoj Kamoj Add-on Beta testing II

Very many thanks to testing and coming with improvement suggestions! Ok, no more "add all the IPs to table novpn, if reverse_bypass is enabled" OK, added to FAQ.txt how to off reverse_bypass OK, added "kamoj_macs_to_vpn" so also MACs can be added to the table main

Kamoj Kamoj Add-on Beta testing II

Thank you for this great discovery! You are really clever! In a way good that this happened... o_O The reason for it is that the file /etc/iproute2/rt_tables does not exist. The old code then created a new one with only novpn: 213 novpn But it should have been: # # reserved values # 255...

Thank you for reporting. How is the structure of your .ovpn/.auth files on the USB-device? Flat or with sub-directories?

Thank you as always for your good reporting! The downloading probably times out for you. What timeout do you use for downloads? Don't know what about the bypassing is about. Wish you had taken a screen dump of Router Information page. Its very informative...

Since the script is lost at reboot due to a bug, VPN Client should not be effected. Please check log-files (supervision and VPN client) to see what went wrong! Sorry for the trouble!

Kamoj Kamoj Add-on Beta testing II

Thank you sir! I'll add that to the todo-list... :) Maybe you need to add ath11 as well - for the 2.4 GHz Guest WiFi?! My script above does not do anything every 10 second, unless needed, i.e. the WiFi clientele has changed. The write to nvram does not cause any nvram wear either, since no...

Kamoj Kamoj Add-on Beta testing II

You can use the add-on function "Create start script entries manually (Executed at boot time)" in Settings 2, and add e.g. this code: #!/bin/sh while :; do #2.4 GHz: NO_VPN_LST_ALWAYS="$(for i in ath1 ath11; do wlanconfig $i list sta;done|grep ":"|cut -d" " -f1|while IFS= read -r DEV; do grep...

UPDATE: Note that these 2 functions are buggy in 5.4b32: - Updated: "Reverse VPN bypassing", i.e. Default that all devices bypass the VPN. See FAQ.txt - Updated: Allow devices using a certain interface to bypass the VPN. See FAQ.txt To correct the obvious errors, run from router command prompt...
