    DLNA/UPnP/SSDP broadcast routing

I'm trying to make my DLNA mediaserver accessible from a subnet different from the router subnet. So I have Router1 (AC56u) with subnet 192.168.10.0/24, I also have Roadwarrior2(192.168.4.1/32) connected to Roter1 via VPN. Unicast routing works perfectly: I can use samba, etc. However...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 3.0.0.4.374.35 is out

To provide all potentially relevant information I did the following: 1. Unmounted the drive from router via web-interface 2. Plugged it in the laptop, checked errors, unmounted from laptop. 3. Cleared the log on the router 4. Plugged the drive in the router - at this point everything works...

    Asuswrt-Merlin 3.0.0.4.374.35 is out

Optware seems to be automatically disabled when Download Master is removed on ac56u, Firmware:3.0.0.4.374.35_4. If I plug in ext2-formated usb-stick, install DM, remove DM, reboot router, login to it via ssh - ipkg command does not work. Tried two sticks already. Router also refuses to mount usb...

New Asus RT-AC56U 802.11ac Gigabit DualBand Wireless Router

I see. What about build environment for firmware? Do you think it should suit for building tinc or other software? All the packages, which tinc depends on seem to be present in repo: openssl, zlib, lzo, ncurses, readline

New Asus RT-AC56U 802.11ac Gigabit DualBand Wireless Router

I'm hoverer quite familiar with that. I could follow the manual from NSLU2-Linux, but I thought, there is an easier way, because many people should have done this already. For example, maybe, build environment, which is described in asuswrt-merlin firmware building manual can suit for building...

Unfortunately, tinc package is not availiable at http://ipkg.nslu2-linux.org/feeds/optware/mbwe-bluering/cross/unstable/ Is it possible to build my own package from source? I have found a manual but maybe there is something less general? Maybe I could follow...

    Overclocking RT-AC56U

I'm now thinking of buying ASUS RT-AC56U for Encrypted VPN. Could enyone please confirm reproducibility of 60 Mbit result by RMerlin? As I understand, two VPN clients may have ~60 Mbit VPN each (2 cores)?
