    I can certainly say the flash reset flash reset usually keeps most strange things at bay. I updated 2 66u's yesterday and it started the reboot issue on them. A second reset and reflash fixed the issue. It started the moment i plugged in a usb aircard even though i flashed without the card...

    Broken power button

    Crazy glue worked for me. I had a 66u do the same thing thankfully it breaks and doesn't leave it in a state you couldn't turn it on. I just unplug adapter to cycle power now.

    Went from 4180 to 7266 and it broke my air card rollover. Roll back to 4180 it started a reboot every 1 min or so. I had to setup from Scratch to make it work on 4180 again. Even though I had backed up the settings prior to upgrading even factory reset and restore of settings resulted in it...

    When in doubt about a strange problem your best bet is a hard reset and do not restore settings from backup. Some on here when they do a FW update do the update then factory reset. Go back in after reset and apply the FW update again with an additional factory reset. Then setup from scratch...

    RT-N66U How to connect to Guest Network on Repeater?

    It does only connect to one ssid in repeater mode. I have not tried the AP mode on these routers is there a hybrid mode as well as a WDS mode? I think WDS only allows the router to work as a wireless as in you can not hardwire into the router and connect to your entire network.
