    Mine crashes similarly. This last time I made it some 20 days before it went dead and needed to be unplugged to recover. I've had the same issue since I've owned it, using any firmware rev. I'm just using very basic settings, no thing special, 5G is disabled even.

    Well, since updating to 4950 my router crashes 100% dead on all ports and never recovers every 24-48hrs using the same settings as I used on 3754. Sure would be nice if ASUS could publish which settings cause the router to crash daily! ;-) ... only half joking. My learning lesson with this...

    When I very first enabled VPN after the update it just hung enabling it indefinitely. I powered down using the power button and when it came back up I was able to enable VPN again, and it works as before... OpenVPN.

    You will love this. About 90 seconds after I wrote the above post the router crashed, showed powered on but no connections not even on ethernet! Too funny, and sad, that's what I get for trying to say something nice about it! LOL Something I forgot to add... My SSD is now detected...
