    Netgear R7800 Firmware 1.0.2.62

No idea. I never tested this before. I was just wondering what Bufferbloat is all about so I searched the internet and came across some interesting sites with test possibilities. I use "managed" switches in my house. Between test PC and R7800 I have 2 of these switches GS108E. Can these play a...

    Netgear R7800 Firmware 1.0.2.62

You miss the point. If you search for a download it should offer you the latest and greatest. How can you change to something if you - normally - do not know what the latest is? Funny: if you search for downloads in the Dutch link (https://www.netgear.nl/support/download/) you will get version...

    Netgear R7800 Firmware 1.0.2.62

I can change the names of attached devices without issues. Most likely your browser, but you tried more.... o_O. Also strange is that this new version is still not visible if you check via the download page https://www.netgear.com/support/download/ If you enter "R7800" in the search field you...

    R7800 SmallNetBuilder Review

Only the user data will be backed-up in the configuration file. The MAC-addresses not, so wireless clients might refuse to connect if MAC is involved in the security process.

    R7800 weirdness... Any pointers

If you get lower wired speed on the LAN-side of your R7800 than what the R7800 measures over the WAN, forget wifi. It is in your router. I would recommend to load stock firmware, do a factory reset (like coming out of the box, new) and retest. If still bad results, send the R7800 in for a...

Not too bad :). Good router, the R7800 with stock firmware 60. Very interesting thread, I learn a lot from it.

[TP-Link EAP300 v2] Time setting not working automatically

That was the first thing I did. For days ..... . Time setting on the AP is only interesting for the logfile, so no big deal. But it should work in one way or the other. I'll dig further into it.

[TP-Link EAP300 v2] Time setting not working automatically

If it was that easy .... . The EAP330 only accepts IP-addresses.

[TP-Link EAP300 v2] Time setting not working automatically

Router R7800 : Default NetGear NTP server :(, no further information available I tried several NTP addresses: 193.78.240.12, 193.79.237.14, 72.251.251.11, 131.211.8.244, 213.132.202.192: no success!

[TP-Link EAP300 v2] Time setting not working automatically

Hi, I am not successful in setting up a correct primary NTP server to get the time right in this access point. Is there somebody who is successful? Which IP-address do you use? Synchronizing manually with the PC is working OK. But I power off the EAP330 every evening which causes the clock to...

Good to see that there is improvement coming and that more manufacturers are starting to sell AX-products. I will try to buy one from a local store in The Netherlands and play with it

    Netgear R7800-X4S Firmware 1.0.2.60

I got it working. The living room is covered by the TP-Link EAP330. Tomorrow I will be a long time within range of the R7800, only 5GHz, with my phone. Then I will grep the number :)

    Netgear R7800-X4S Firmware 1.0.2.60

When I am on the 5GHz of the R7800 it runs without any problem. I stream audio all the time and it doesn't interrupt. Only when I move from the R7800 range to the TP-Link access point I get a hick-up. So, so obvious isn't this reported bug ....
