I have made SOME progress, two or three weeks ago, those devices were dropping off the network EVERY night, and occasionally during the day. What puzzles me, is why only certain of my devices drop off the network. My Linux based boxes used to drop off every night along with my IP cam and TV...

It has been 2 nights since the IP cam has dropped off the network and 4 nights for the HDHR tuner. This is really a waiting game, every time I **think** I found the culprit, Something drops off the network again, proving that theory wrong. So far, I again, **think** I have ruled out almost...

I still have not connected my Linux boxes to my network in a couple of weeks. They were dropping off the network every night, same as my IP cam a networked TV tuner. This problem has me completely baffled.

I don't think it is the problem. It may even be my Samsung 4k T V that is/was causing my problem. I am grasping at straws, now. Even though I turn off the TV, it still has power, so it could be causing my network issues. I have to know,in my mind, what device is causing my problem.

SD, never told me what their diagnosis showed. I am now at a loss on what I have done so far. I have ruled out any of my networking hardware. Now it boils down to one of my devices playing havock with my network. I will try your suggestion the next time one of my devices drops off the network.

Feeling pretty confidant that the cause of my devices dropping off my network, was solved. I started adding my devices back into my network. I added my Zidoo X9S (running OpenWRT in the back ground) in the morning. Later that afternoon, my Dahau IP camera dropped on my network. I again...

Day 6, night 5 and my Dahua IP cam and networked TV tuner at still online this morning. Yesterday, I put my Vorke V2 (Plex and Emby servers) back online. Today, I will put my Zidoo X9s (running OpenWRT in the background), back online. If my devices do NOT drop offline tomorrow, then I will...

Day 5, night 4 and my Dahua IP cam and networked TV tuner at still online this morning. This is very encouraging that I am getting closer to solving the issue of some of my networking devices dropping off my network each day/night. Today, I will put my Synology NAS back into service. I am...

Hopefully in a couple of weeks I can have an answer. But 3 nights without the IP camera or tuner not dropping off the network is a good sign. Every morning, when I check to see it they are still online, I cringe, hoping they are still online. That tells me that I am making progress. When...

Day 4 and 3 nights, Dahua IP camera and networked tuner still online this morning. Put the SiliconDust tuner, that was determined to be defective by SiliconDust, back online yesterday, and it has not dropped off the network yet. This is very good news, because in the last 2 of 3 weeks, these...

I now put my original networked TV tuner back into the system. This tuner was dropping off the network every night and sometimes during the day. SiliconDust, make of the tuners, said the diagnostics showed it was defective, but I don't believe it. I will know for sure tomorrow or the next...

The Green switch has been in the same location of many years. What I don't recall is WHEN I moved my Cat6 cables from that switch to the router.

Good news today. When I got up, first thing I check is to see if my IP cam and networked TV tuner are still on the network, and they were. This is 2 NIGHTS and days in a row that they did NOT drop off the network. The last thing I disconnected 3 days ago was my Vorke V2 (Windows 10 microPC)...

My devices that were dropping off the switch were NOT connected to the Green switch at all. They were connected indirectly to the router.
