    Normally this is true, but this assumes the antenna itself, inside the rather wide plastic casing sits vertically within the casing. I haven't pulled one apart to see whether this is the case.     Sometimes soft factory reset leaves prior password and a few stray items intact, but I think it depends on the firmware revision. It's a bug, I think. Glad to hear you got out of it. Seems the WPS button reset is the most reliable way to reset. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

    You can override Smart Connect just for your Apple devices by setting up Guest network aliases for each of the bands. (Obviously, this means you need to grant decent network privileges to the guest SSIDS for this to work). You don't have "AP Isolated" turned on in the Advanced Wireless...

    AC3200 Wireless Drops

    Have you checked your modem directly with a wired connection? There are some ISP network-related problems that can cause similar problems (very large/very small files don't download). In my case, I was seeing a large number of uncorrectable errors on the modem's status page.

    Sorry, I guess I should make sure I have my glasses on before I reply...especially on the smaller phone screen. I mistook this for one of the alpha versions that has a download that is only a text file, not even for same router.

    The file is a Readme with instructions how to request the actual firmware, since this is an alpha release (very buggy experimental firmware). Don't bother with it for now unless you are interested in testing, rather than using, the router. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

    I've had a boatload of problems with my 3200 on fw9313. It's possible the file is so small that it's getting nuked by bufferbloat delays. Try measuring your connection speed and setting your QoS bandwidths at 90% of each measured value (rather than Auto QoS, which can be unreliable).
