[ROG RAPTURE GT-AX11000] Experiences & Discussion

172.16.11.110 is a private IP, ie LAN network, so it's likely that either your ISP is doing is really weird carrier grade NAT or the hd612 is running DHCP also? Might be worth just giving the modem a factory reset, not seeing much in those logs to indicate the router is at fault tbh. Another...

[ROG RAPTURE GT-AX11000] Experiences & Discussion

on the asus, when the connection drops, check in the logs in system tools. Also, does the router claim to still have a wan address or does it show as disconnected? One more thing to try as you've mentioned BT and the uptime being in the months range. When you get chance, power off the HG612 for...

[ROG RAPTURE GT-AX11000] Experiences & Discussion

Just because the line doesn't drop, doesn't mean that the pppoe login won't drop, what mtu are you using on the wan port? When you say wired connection stops working, you mean unable to login to the router, or devices can't talk to each other over the lan? As for WiFi speed, sounds like your...

[ROG RAPTURE GT-AX11000] Experiences & Discussion

No offence intended, but for multiple routers to be providing poor speeds and dropouts of internet connectivity, I'd be looking into the modem/isp side of the connection for issues rather than routers. Are the modems set to do pppoe or just double nat off the isp modem?

RT-AX92U not working with two out of three Broadlink devices on IHC

Only thing I could suggest to be fair would be: Set channel to 1, 6 or 11. (Not sure if smart connect will allow that?) Preamble to short. Disable Roaming Assist - I found in the past it interfered with smart connect and other oddities. Enable IGMP Snooping.

RT-AX92U not working with two out of three Broadlink devices on IHC

Can you post a screenshot of the basic and advanced settings for the 2.4ghz network? I currently have around 60 devices connected over all 3 bands, may be able to compare configs and help out.

Winfi lite on Windows 10 app store. Free and works decent. Iirc rmerlin made a thread about it a while back. Ofdma was enabled by default for me. Had to manually enable the WiFi agile multi and.

To get the 5ghz-2 working at 160mhz I had to set the channel to manual, channel 100.

So far, awesome update, 5ghz1 & 5Ghz2 are operating at 160mhz width now , so finally have a lovely 4803mbps :D Even my Intel 9260AC 160mhz card is getting far better throughput.

Instaled and enabled wpa2/wpa3-personal. Enabled - Agile Multiband Enabled - OFDMA AI Mesh still appears to be working fine with my AX92u so all good on that front. Will see how stable it is over the next few days. Curious about Let's Encrypt, what's not working with it? Been working fine...

    [Asus RT-AX88U] Experiences & Discussion

If running windows, roll back to the previous 21.50 driver as 21.60 caused way too many issues of poor speed and random disconnects on 160mhz networks.

[ROG RAPTURE GT-AX11000] Experiences & Discussion

I had an XR500, was brilliant when it didn't just randomly crash and lock out all connections and need a factory reset once every week. (Last gamble on a netgear ever) Usually use Ubiquiti Unifi & Amplifi gear nowadays, but the GT-AX1100 was at a price that was too good to turn down, so thought...

I'd say no not at this point unless you are meshing other AX routers to give you decent bandwidth on nodes.

Tested Rapture GT-AX11000:) and ordered RT-AX92U 2-Pack today:)

Just downloaded the firmware onto my laptop. Powered on the 92u, connected to it's open wifi network. Sign in via: 192.168.1.1 or router.asus.com, go through a basic config update firmware, then after it has come back on, just hold down the reset button for 10 seconds. Back on your ax100...

Tested Rapture GT-AX11000:) and ordered RT-AX92U 2-Pack today:)

The ax1100 was already on. I manually updated the ax92u to the latest firmware, factory reset it then: Just powered on the ax92 and told my ax1100 to add a mesh AP. found it and configured fine.

Tested Rapture GT-AX11000:) and ordered RT-AX92U 2-Pack today:)

Picked up the ax92u with my existing config perfectly fine. Be aware that the ax-92 will use it's ax band for the back haul and provide a 2.4ghz network and a 5ghz ac network for clients. If you want users to connect onto the ax band on the 92, just unhide it after it meshes.
