Wi-Fi 6 Performance Roundup: Five Routers Tested

The line where it says "there's no sense in making a large investment that may not pay off" says it all to me anyway!

How many satellites Orbi WiFi 6 System (RBK852) supports?

I dont think you get the 4x4 speed most of the clients are 1x1 or 2x2 on WIFI 6, that i have seen. I dont know about Iphone support speed on WIFI 6, i dont think it support it by the full speed.

How many satellites Orbi WiFi 6 System (RBK852) supports?

The newest and hottest on the network front may be Wifi 6, but so far it is a costly investment that you have little pleasure in. There are also no really affordable mesh systems client using the technology, or hardly any at all. Most home users do their best to wait, keep in mind that most...

How many satellites Orbi WiFi 6 System (RBK852) supports?

One thing to keep in mind is, that the wireless backhaul has shared bandwidth among all the Satellites. The more Satellites you add, the less bandwidth will be available for each Satellite to connect to the Router.

    The best Wi-Fi 6 routers ?

There is no reason to buy the latest, first and foremost there are no clients that even support 4x4, what is available is 1x1 and 2x2. You do not gain anything from buying the latest because the clients you have at home are at most AC clients, the speed does not get higher but it can be lower...

    Replacing R7000

There is no need to scrap the R7000 as long as you have clients that support AC, just download the 3rd party FW if you are not satisfied with the original FW. If you DONT have any AX clients whatsoever, I see no reason to buy such a router. Don't swallow everything that is said its all sales...

old windows 8.1 phone doesn't like the 5 g wifi range

It mean you shall not use the DFS CHs on the 5GHz band, only use the NONE DFS CHs. So you dont use the CH from 52-144 and also do not use the AUTO settings. As it is a old phone you could go for one of the CH 36-48 at 5GHz band at the 20MHz CH width and CH 38 or 46 at the 40MHz CH width, on your...

    R7800 Slow Wifi Speeds

It could be all abowe or just need a upgrade of the FW, hard to say now afterwards. All depends on your situation, how you live, how its built up, the living area, where you put the router, wath kind of networkcards was used, what clients you have and and how many they are and so on.

    R7800 Slow Wifi Speeds

Look at the CH Width and use the right CHs for the both bands and do NOT use AUTO settings for none of them and upgrade to the latest 3rd part FW.
