    No the Ultra with the USB 3.0 and the faster Cpu is cheaper than the Qnap...you misunderstood...

    Hi, thank you for your reply. I got into the Nas thing and really want to buy one. Doesnt need external HDD so far. I think Ultra 4 is nearly same performance as Ultra 2, except the 2 Bay extra. You mean the chart here on smallbuilder I already looked into. Why is there then such a price...

    Very useful post by the way. It is urgent because I hv no external HDD. I hv to sent my notebook to repair next week and want to make a backup on a new nas before i sent it. Does someone get in touch with both NAS devices and can share his/her experience?

    Hey Guys,:);) I considered to buy a Netgear ReadyNAS Ultra 2. The price is 200,00€. Today I saw that the price for QNAP TS219 P+.They lowered the price from 285,00€ to 260,00€. Now I am very uncertain. Which NAS shall I buy for home network ( Movie, Music Streaming and bit Backup...
