So Long, Thanks For All The Help

You can experiment with different channels and find better working ones. Broadcom vs Qualcomm radios, different hardware and software, may perform differently. I would stick to non-DFS options on 5GHz band. Don't bother with 160MHz because U6 Mesh have Gigabit links and can do ~860Mbps at 80MHz...

    amtm color combination

I understand we perhaps have different vision, but there is no red in color option 9 - there is orange. Try using 11 - it's all white text.

    amtm color combination

When I played with AMTM some time ago my color scheme of choice was 9. With this one I can see the text pretty well on a monitor with 50% brightness.

    Replacement for AC-87U

You further limited your choice to Asus products only. Choose one and hope for the best. The firmware is in somewhat experimental stage and you'll become a freelance beta tester. The device may not be as stable as your old one and most likely won't be supported for that long. Things change.

    Malware damaging ASUS routers?

The UPnP version on this one is guaranteed much older than currently available version. Mostly outdated information, this site was popular when people were using Netscape to search with Altavista.

So Long, Thanks For All The Help

This is what you can do starting from already running RT-AX86U (or something else in my case): - connect the gateway to the existing router in double NAT and power it up - use Ethernet or Bluetooth to start the setup process, let it update the software - register it to your account, follow the...

Are all ASUS routers on the 3.0.0.6.102 codebase guaranteed to support VLAN Management & Guest Network Pro?

The information on Asus website is a mess. Asus ZenWiFi BQ16 doesn't have VLANs and runs firmware >34312 as an example. This is a beta firmware number. Official releases are 3.0.0.6 and nothing guarantees features. Whatever the marketing decides.
