    Upgraded to alpha1-g09802d268a 2 days ago on my two GT-AXE16000's. No issues running smooth. Had to give the AI mesh node a good 5-10 mins for it to reconnect and show up as 10 gig. All good.

    enabling ethernet backhaul mode destroying internet speed/latency? (GT-AXE16000)

    Do you have aiprotection enabled? Heard reports of it causing speed issues. Worth mentioning.

    Yup, I am waiting for ATT to come service more regions of santa clarita as well. Hopefully soon but it's just pretty crappy the way they have it deployed here. Small pockets. Getting tired of this spectrum garbage myself with 40mbps upload. Fiber is the way :)

    One of the benefits would be if you have a 2.5/10 gig nic card you would be able to get above 1 gig internet speeds on those workstations since the AXE11000 only has one 2.5gbps port and other ports being 1 gig.     Hmm that's a weird one. Was going to suggest doing a reset but you upgrading anyway. Well you definitely are going to like the axe16000 with the s22+ and ultra phones. The wifi 6e reception is pretty good and really responsive. It's an absolute beast of a router. Make sure you test it out...

    Bummer to see issues with the new router, hopefully you get it replaced/fixed. Always something with receiving the first batch of a new product that tend to have issues.

    Yes you have to go to the wireless settings and then go to the professional tab. There you can adjust the roaming assist setting. Mine's at -45 for now but will prob put it to -50.

    I would just get it exchanged honestly and see what that does if you've exhausted all troubleshooting efforts. That's odd if it the same problem on both 10 gig ports and the 2.5 gig port. Or just return it and stick to the current previous setup.

    I did some roaming testing with sensitivity set to -50 and found it to be working ok actually. It's just a bit slow but it does connect to the closer router. Tried different values but found -50 to -55 roaming assist to be working well in my environment.

    I am getting about 1.2gbps on my s22 ultra on 6e with ookla speedtest which is pretty much my cap for my home internet (cable). Same speed on 2.5gbps wan and 10gbps ports. On connected speed on wifi i see 2.4 gbps which is great. Wifi 6e range for me is actually not bad at all. I was expecting...

    I am happy to report that after the firmware was upgraded on both routers I am finally connected at 10gig on the mesh node after manually rebooting the node and using one of the 10 gig ports. Yay!!! I am a happy camper now.
