Anyone have success with U-Verse IPTV on thrid party router?

Yeah, I had it in DMZ+ for the first week. Then I went to a supplemental network with the router given a static IP instead. Either way they both work. I agree with you though it is definitely perfectly livable with two separate networks. Sometimes though you just want to do what you think...

Anyone have success with U-Verse IPTV on thrid party router?

I am not saying they are doing anything wrong maybe that was too strong, proprietary may be better, I am saying beyond the authentication which requires their Pace gateway, they either seem to be doing something else besides IGMPv3 for U-Verse IPTV data or the right people haven't used the right...

Anyone have success with U-Verse IPTV on thrid party router?

See if you only use the pace they can and are on the same subnet. So there should be a way to do it using a 3rd party router. The issue seems to be in igmpv3, either at&t is doing something wrong, people don't know how to work with it, or the people who tried did not have adequate hardware...

Anyone have success with U-Verse IPTV on thrid party router?

Kindly point me to one forum post where someone has a third party router in dmz+ with uverse on the same subnet. I would love to see it. Thanks. I have searched for weeks all the way back to 2009, and have yet to see one example of someone getting it to work.

Anyone have success with U-Verse IPTV on thrid party router?

No it isn't well documented. There is documentation of putting a router in DMZ+ or even a router with a static IP on its own network. That isn't the issue. The issue is U-Verse traffic (IPTV) uses perhaps a proprietary method of something like IGMP, and it apparently doesn't play well with third...

Anyone have success with U-Verse IPTV on thrid party router?

I have internet and u-verse coming in to a pace 5268ac. From there the internet goes to a USG-Pro which handles all of the internet routing. I have 5 static IPs, and have the pace set to just passthrough all internet traffic to the USG on its own IP. As far as U-verse TV goes though it comes out...

Ubiquiti Announces New Budget Saving UniFi APs

Could you translate that? Like reading everyone's thoughts, but I am only fluent in English. Thanks.

    Opinions on EdgeRouter X?

The ERL and USG are pretty much the same hardware. The difference is the USG is configured via a controller which can be run via a cloudkey or another Linux system. The controller can configure and give stats on all products in the Unifi line. This makes it nice to manage a network in one pane...

Ubiquiti Announces New Budget Saving UniFi APs

You can run other hardware with the Unifi line, but you cant manage it all from the controller. Like I run the Orbi as APs right now, but I can't really manage them (have to go to the orbi admin ui for that) or get stats from the wireless users (they all show as wired clients).

Ubiquiti Announces New Budget Saving UniFi APs

But then it wouldn't be controlled/have stats with the cloudkey

Ubiquiti Announces New Budget Saving UniFi APs

Was looking at getting some of these for when we move into our new home, but not sure if they really offer much compared to the AC-PRO. Other than a phone or two, we don't have any MU-MIMO devices, and it is a home...so I am not sure what the HD part brings to the table for a home environment...

    Ubiquiti ERLite-3 Slow, Inconsistent Throughput

Just expressing my frustrations over the weekend, trying to setup a USG Pro with a Pace Gateway. Even the simplified USG lineup is convoluted. I had an easier time with the ERL.

    Ubiquiti ERLite-3 Slow, Inconsistent Throughput

You think that makes no sense you should try and configure a cloudkey, router, and switch to anything but 192.168.1...you have to adopt the router and switch while on192.186.1, then change the network to 192.186.2 or whatever then reboot the router. Then reboot the switch....then factory reset...

    Ubiquiti ERLite-3 Slow, Inconsistent Throughput

I just used it for home use, it had no problems with 350mbps cable. With hwoffload disabled though it was 60Mbps. I didn't do any serious testing, just downloading games and movies always maxed out what the ISP gave me. Wish I could add more, but I pretty much just used eth0 as WAN, no bridge...

    Replace entire large home network?

Well for one, I can say the USG-PRO-4 is absolutely NOT quiet. I just ordered some Noctua fans for mine, the wife complained, so I ordered the fans...I don't think I would use a USG for gigabit speeds, but the USG PRO is loud with the stock fans, so I think that would rule out a Unifi router in...

Ubiquiti Adds Three Managed Switches To Its UniFi Platform

Yeah the GS108s are really nice, I just figured for $10 more dollars I could have it all in the Unifi interface. Keeping it as a back up for sure, which might be sooner than later due to the heat on the Unifi switch:)

Ubiquiti Adds Three Managed Switches To Its UniFi Platform

Runs pretty hot even with all the poe off except one for the cloudkey which is only pulling 2.4watts.

FS: Arris SurfBoard Cable Modem - SB6190

Well they supposedly fixed TCP (in some beta firmwares to a select few-your ISP wouldnt have pushed that to your modem nowhereman), but not UDP it is still really broke. I would have thought they would have fixed UDP first.... If you have a PUMA6 you can se for yourself how bad it is here...
