Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.7 is now available for all models

A /48 bit prefix, means 2^(64-48) address, rather 65536. It's huge, but it can be handled by a router I guess

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.7 is now available for all models

But why before, with 386.5, I had a /48 prefix for Lan too?

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.7 is now available for all models

Indeed I noticed also in 386.7 the LAN IPv6 prefix is written in the form of: 2001:db80:aaaa:: which is a /48 Prefix Length address; maybe it's only a mistype 64 in this case?

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.7 is now available for all models

From what I know, an IPv6 /48 prefix is bigger than /64

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.7 is now available for all models

Hi, I noticed something wrong with IPv6 page on my RT-AX86U after update to 386.7; indeed, when I was on 386.5_2 my IPv6 page looks like this: Instead now with 386.7, I have: Anyhow, my ISP provide me a 48 bit length IPv6 range of addresses; what I'm doing wrong right now? Why I stepped...

Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.7 is now available for all models

Hi, do we have to reset/restore JFFS on RT-AX86U after upgrade, just like in the beta? I can't see any mention on the changelog anyhow

YazDHCP YazDHCP - feature expansion of DHCP assignments (increasing limit on the number of DHCP reservations)

Hi, is there any plan to add more than 1 MAC to a single IP? I mean, some device have both wired and wireless MAC (i.e. printers) and I'd be nice to have 1 entry for both MAC addresses and assign it one IP only

    [Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.18 Beta / 384.13_9 is now available

Dirty upgrade from 384.17 to 384.18beta1 on RT-AC86U and I registered only a small glitch (missing icon) on the homepage of the router webUI (picture enclosed) Tried also F5, with no luck Also the green "gear" of the Adaptive QOS icon on the right upper corner seems irregular, like zoomed and...

[Beta] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.7 Beta is now available

Installed beta3 over 384.6 on my RT-AC86U. I'm in double NAT with my modem (Vodafone IT) but I can say the new DDNS service is working flawlessly with my DNS-O-MATIC setup.

[Preview] Early Asuswrt-Merlin 384.6 test builds are available

The same for me; I don't use the reboot scheduler, but the wireless scheduler has the same behaviour you describe

[Preview] Early Asuswrt-Merlin 384.6 test builds are available

I've already done a factory reset when I updated to 384.5 and I manually re-inserted all the settings. I don't want to do it again each version.

[Preview] Early Asuswrt-Merlin 384.6 test builds are available

Ok, I was tasting victory too early: today, after I upgraded the FW to the latest Alpha2 during the WE, the Wireless Scheduler didn't woked as expected and the WiFi stayed on all the night. Mi WiFi scheduler has the following settings: Monday-Friday: OFF from 1.00 AM to 6.00 AM All other hours...

[Preview] Early Asuswrt-Merlin 384.6 test builds are available

Updated on alpha2 2 days ago on my RT-AC86U and, I don't want to say too loudly, but it seems the Wireless Scheduler has been fixed after several versions it was broken...

[Beta 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.5 Beta is now available

I can confirm for RT-AC86U with 384.5_beta2 the bug for the wireless schedule is still present also after a full factory setting restore and manually inserted values. The bug is quite annoying since it does not occur immediately but only after few days of usage.

    [Preview 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.5 early test builds

Yes, it's fixed. Only the WiFI scheduler is still not working correctly

[Beta 384/NG] Asuswrt-merlin 384.4 Beta is now available

I can confirm in this version the WiFi scheduler does not work on RT-AC86U. I set both 2.4 and 5GHz to be turned off from Monday to Friday, starting from 1.00AM to 6.00AM. Here are the NVRAM involved values: wl0_timesched=1 wl1_timesched=1 wl_timesched=1...

    [Preview] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.4 test builds

Same issue on WiFi MAC filters tab noticed from other users. I'd like also to notify now on RT-AC86U the wifi guest MAC Address list it seems limited to 16 clients instead of 64 (at least on WebUI)

    [Preview] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.4 test builds

Installed on RT-AC86U: I can say now the limit of personalizing more than 30 clients (icon-names) has been fixed! All good so far

[Beta 384/NG] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.3 Beta is now available

the firmware seems ok generally on RT-AC86U till beta1 (I'm going to try beta2 shortly): The only thing that seems working intermittently is the WiFi scheduler and I really don't know why (and this happens since 382.2betas). I tried also to reset the involved NVRAM parameters, but even if the...
