    [Preview] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.3 pre-release test builds

Does anyone know if the latest test build for RT-AC86U includes the latest GPL code for this model? It does not seem so by the changelog

    [Preview] Asuswrt-Merlin 384.3 pre-release test builds

Same here: installed alpha 1 on my RT-AC86U and the upload chart pie on QoS statistics no longer works. Still is present the same bug on renaming the client after the 30ish entry, but I know Merlin this is beyond your control

[Beta 382] Asuswrt-Merlin 382.2 Beta is now available

I can confirm QOS statistics is ok now with this beta on RT-AC86U. Thanks Merlin

[Beta 382] Asuswrt-Merlin 382.2 Beta is now available

Unfortunately, I have to confirm the bug of the wireless time schedule. After I reset the NVRAM parameters and all seems to work, after some days the time schedule has been ignored and now I tried to reset again the NVRAM parameters, but the settings seems to not work anyway. Any other has the...

[Beta 382] Asuswrt-Merlin 382.2 Beta is now available

Updated from beta1 to beta2 and the QOS upload pie disappeared on QOS statistics tab. With beta1 this feature worked normally I'm with RT-AC86U on PPPoE connection. Maybe this is the reason

[Beta 382] Asuswrt-Merlin 382.2 Beta is now available

Hi Merlin, regarding the WiFi schedule issue I had (https://www.snbforums.com/threads/alpha-pre-release-test-builds-available-both-380-and-382-branches.42269/page-16#post-366977), I fixd it by reset/unset the related variables on NVRAM and re-setting it. It seems to work now

[Alpha] Pre-release test builds available (both 380 and 382 branches)

Probably I've found a bug/problem in the WiFI scheduler for RT-AC86U and alpha2 (though I had this problem also in the stable 382.1 as far as I remember); even if the settings are correctly saved on NVRAM (or at least, I hope so): wl0_sched=010001<120601<230601<340601<450601<500600...

Nope, I have not this option (control box) at all with QOS enabled. I haven't tried with QOS disabled, but I don't know if it's supposed to be normal in this case. Inviato dal mio LG-H870 utilizzando Tapatalk

Is it possible that I don't have this in Switch control if I enable the Adaptive QOS?

[Alpha] Pre-release test builds available (both 380 and 382 branches)

Where I can set HW acceleration on RT-AC86U? In which page/tab I mean

[Alpha] Pre-release test builds available (both 380 and 382 branches)

Hi Merlin, I tried this latest test build, but the limit of the client name/icon seems still valid. Do your latest commit has nothing to do with this limit?

Skynet Skynet - Router Firewall & Security Enhancements

Many thanks Adam! I followed your suggestion and I removed the init-start script and placed those entries on the post-mount. Now the Skynet script works flawlessly on RT-AC86U

Skynet Skynet - Router Firewall & Security Enhancements

Yes, the startup entry is on init-start: #!/bin/sh swapon UUID="6dd974bd-f709-4095-974c-0bc65c5353b4" echo "UUID=6dd974bd-f709-4095-974c-0bc65c5353b4 none swap sw 0 0" >> /etc/fstab Do I need to place it in a different script?

Skynet Skynet - Router Firewall & Security Enhancements

Hi, I tried to install Skynet on my RT-AC86U with 382.1 fw, but at the ends of the install, it told me there was no SWAP install, even if I have a 3Gb SWAP partition currently used by the router. Is that a known problem on RT-AC86U? How can I fix it? I already tried the command with the debug...

    [OFFICIAL] RT-AC68U 3.0.0.4.382.18547

Is your HDD format on EXT2/3/4? Because it could be the same behaviour that RT-AC86U has with 382 baseline and SMB transfer (it randomly drops the SMB reads from >100Mb/s to 15 Mb/s). FTP is not affected by this problem, so I think it should be related to some I/O or EXT filesystem issues and...
