Troubleshooting Wi-Fi Connectivity Issue in AiMesh Mode

Sad to say this may be evidence of AiMesh not working well with disparate hardware. Perhaps you've declared WPA3 in some fashion and the AC class node chokes on passing the information along, or something else technically similar?

IPv6 config on Asus RT-AX86U with Google Fiber

Assuming, of course, a MAC wasn't cloned...

    Change from Asus to Deco

I often have trouble with "compliment" vs. "complement" but I think you got it right! (But then again, I often have trouble... hahaha!)

    Solved GT-AX11000 Crashing randomly

Sorry that I hadn't fetched your attachment until just now. Search for the line May 5 07:05:05 crashlog: <5>ubi0: attaching mtd0 Within the lines following, you'll see a report of the layout which includes "good" "bad" and "corrupted" information. So far, so good. I haven't perused the file...

    Solved GT-AX11000 Crashing randomly

First two things I would check: is the power brick correct and correctly working; the condition of the MTD (perhaps an "mtdinfo" command, or some such, or I believe there will be "files" called "badblocks" or similar under either /proc or /sys). Problems with the first should be...

    Great minds think alike? ;-)

    RT-AX88U Pro Unresponsive

Or a "breakout box", as it were. Get yourself supply output voltage available outside of the router via a complimentary socket/plug combo. Certainly there's some old hardware laying around which could donate the necessary parts. But gotta say, not being yet further into the thread than what's...

ASUS Router app for iOS not detecting GT-AX6000 router it is connected to

Most likely they obtain (some kind of) knowledge of your wireless router interaction via the app, which does not happen via the LAN web gui. Maybe it's "acceptable" info, but who can say? Fetching apps from Google's Play Store, or Apple's version of the same mechanism, is fraught with peril...

    RX usage tripled

I, too, have been blessed with no data caps. In any event I'm not abusive, but it's nice to be so appreciated as a customer.

    GT-BE98 WIFI 7

I was merely being cordial and it seems you were being "assumptuous".

Yeah, but I said it in fewer words.

I must publicly confess that I've been piggybacking on your address, too, for quite some time...

Low UL throughput over WIFI on new fiber line.. Normal?

Circling back around yet again, if it's not the WiFi performance, proper, that's being affected (and it still sounds to me like that's what you're reporting), then it isn't EMI from the ONT. Simplest solution I can think of is to have a premises tech swing by with another ONT and see if the...

    AI Mesh with 2.5Gb backhaul?

Works like gangbusters, at least substituting GT-AX6000 for the 88 Pro here, as the "feeder".

    GT-BE98 WIFI 7

I believe the version levels and manufacturing times are independently stated.

Low UL throughput over WIFI on new fiber line.. Normal?

It's ONT upload that gets "stuck" is what I hear you describing. But maybe I'm even yet not grokking what you're saying...

Low UL throughput over WIFI on new fiber line.. Normal?

I must confess that possibility had also crossed my mind at some point. Got some aluminum foil handy?
  18. G

Low UL throughput over WIFI on new fiber line.. Normal?

Ends up boosting throughput TO / FROM THE INTERNET to your wireless clients, not boosting wireless throughput WITHIN YOUR LAN. Correct? The ACTUAL wireless throughput between any client and any AP, even client-to-client THROUGH the AP, remains intact in all circumstances, correct? If indeed...

    Choice of router/mesh point

One very good extra radio - don't leave that part out. Plenty of value for the use-case. And the "entry-level" radio does quite well in itself, providing useable service through roughly 70' of interior with various walls at shallow angles, some of which have tile and/or large mirrors, out...

    Choice of router/mesh point

Straw man argumentation? The units themselves work quite well in whatever role I've ever assigned them. You know why I run them as router / AP instead of "meshed", but I'll reiterate. Firstly because I'd dropped ethernet, thus totally freeing up all radios for client use, and secondly because...
